Hi Wat,
I felt really good about my round: My short game was vastly improved over last year. I took a practice swing every shot, and used my 'Tick-Tock'. I ended up shooting 100, with 3 pars! (Previous best was 103). The great news was that I shot a 44 on the front nine and my previous best on the front nine was 51! My husband says he definitely notices the difference.
My confidence level is up, and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.
Take care,

Scott,
I shot an 88 last Thursday, hit almost every fairway in regulation. Concentrated on “Pace of Swing” and more importantly “Length of Swing” on the drive. I am getting the same or more distance with the belly turn and I’m not slicing the ball. I will definitely be getting you some more students.

Alex,
I just want to say thank you. You run a great operation and I had a great experience at GMS at South Hampton on March 23-25th. It was everything and more.
You are very fortunate to have such a professional, polished, classy individual as Hayden working for you. Hayden went above and beyond. He asked us how things were going outside of the golf school and was genuine. I can see why he will be instructing the other instructors. Hayden is a great ambassador for GMS.
I will endorse GMS every chance I get. Keep up the great work, and give Hayden a raise.
Sincerely,

Scott,
After we left on Wednesday, we played Thursday morning on the Palmer course in the Villages. Brian shot a 45, bogey golf. My father was thanking you on several shots during the round. He also had a ball in the face of a bunker. Knocked it out to two feet for the sandie.
I shot 38, one double (ball in hazard), one bogey, and one birdie. I was very pleased.
Thank you,

Scott,
Just wanted to drop you a note thanking you for the 3 enjoyable days in Amelia Island. Results are starting to come through with my last 3 scores all breaking 90 at 89, 87 & 86 with 2 of those at my home (difficult) course.
I came to the GMS with 2 goals, to improve my drives and to make cleaner and more accurate chips. Both are dramatically improved.
When I first came to GMS in 2005 my goal was to consistently break 100. This year I wanted to consistently break 90. 3 of the 4 rounds I’ve played since the class have been in the 80s. I’m thinking ahead to my next visit when I’ll be looking to consistently break 80!

Marc, Hayden, and everyone at GMS
I just had to share my news with you. I have attended GMS twice, my first visit in May 2005 and my second visit was in April 2006.
The past few weeks I shot 78, 77, 79 and a whole bunch of 80 to 83s. To some people that may not seem like a big deal, but to me it's like a miracle.
Why is this so significant:
First, and foremost. Breaking 90 used to be my BIG Goal! I used to think if I could just play bogey golf that would make me happy and I wouldn't look like a total fool when I go out with my friends.
Second, I never seemed to be able to leave a golf course without the oh so familiar words..."just take out those doubles and triples and I would have shot an 80. Or, "man take out that snowman and I would have had a great round."
Guys with tears in my eyes, I say thank you! I would have never dreamed it could be so simple!

Good Morning Hayden
One of my goals was to get to be playing bogie golf with some frequency. Since taking the course with you, I've seen my handicap index improve from a 26 to a 21. Yesterday on a 6100 yd. track I shot 48 on the front and 40 on the back. Six pars on the back nine. Better than bogie golf. I can feel it!

Marc,
Hope all is going well. Just wanted to let you know I went to Palm Springs on vacation. I concentrated on a PLAN of action. Normally, before seeing you, I shot 90's to low 100's. All my rounds were in the 80's. On the Gary Player course down there, I shot my best score ever - 83!
My total concentration was on my PLAN. I couldn't have followed it any better than I did. Thank you for helping me realize a goal of mine - to never have to score in the 100's again and to now be in the 80's. And sometimes, like I did in Palm Springs, in the low 80's!

Hi Scott,
Thank you for explaining why the golf ball moves forward and showing me how to properly strike the ball.
Thank you for explaining why a PLAN for each shot is important in making my worst shot better and showing me how to PLAN each shot by “Seeing it, Feeling it and then Doing it”
Thank you for explaining why warming up is different to practicing and showing me how to properly warm up.
Thank you for explaining why practicing is different to warming up and showing me how to properly practice.
Thank you for explaining why being Symmetrical is important and showing me how to practice drills which improve being Symmetrical.
Thank you for explaining why Feel is important to successful putting and showing me various drills to improve my Feel with the putter.
Thank you for explaining why reading greens is important and then showing me how uphill and downhill putts break differently.
Thank you for explaining why speed control is most important for putting and then showing me various drills to practice putting speeds into the box.
Thank you for explaining why sand shots are the easiest shots to perform and then showing me to hit sand shots well.
Thank you for explaining why “Pace of Swing” is so important and then showing me how saying “Tick/Tock” to initiate the backswing and downswing can help de-clutter the mind and lead to better “Pace of Swing”.
Thank you for explaining why wedge distance control is so important in saving strokes and then showing me the many drills to practice wedge distances.
Thanks for making the 3 days informative and fun. I learned more in these three days then in the last 30 years that I have been golfing. Just wish I had spent these three days thirty years ago instead of just now. For anyone who is truly interested in learning “how” to play golf, this is the best thing they could do. Congratulations to Marc and all of the team for putting this program together.
Best regards,
Ken J - Ottawa, Ontario, Canada – April 16th, 2007
