Who Should Attend GMS?

GMS limits each class to only 4 Golfers - so individualized Instruction is the norm. And we make sure that all 4 Golfers are of a similar ability level (unless you have a special request to be with a friend, spouse or partner of a different level). For example: if you score over 100 - we make sure to put you with other over 100 Golfers. The same if you score in the 90's or 80's.

Golf Made Simple offers the Ladies of The EWGA some really nice locations to spend 3 days improving your golf game and having fun! The GMS Program works - we have the Golfers and Testimonials to prove that. Though, to understand why GMS works so well in helping Golfers improve ... you must understand why this program is so much different than the Golf Instruction many Golfers have taken in the past.

What's The Difference?

Once-a-week, 30 minute golf lessons aren't nearly as effective as 3 days dedicated to your golf game. Especially for people with a career and/or a family. Many Golfers get stuck in the trap of going for their weekly Golf Lesson hoping to improve each week. Yet, the reality is that after 6 weeks ... most Golfers have either marginally improved, not improved at all, or even gotten worse.

This isn't a knock on the Instructor as much as it is on the process. Imagine learning a foreign language by taking a 30 minute lesson each week. It would be years before you were able to effectively communicate!

The once a week golf lesson doesn't work as well as a 3 day program because in between each 30 minute lesson you have a life that doesn't involve golf. So even though you may attempt to get out and practice what you learned at your lesson - frequently there's not enough time to do so.

Yet, even when you do - that can be classified as "uncoached practice". Meaning - how do you really know that you're doing what your Instructor told you to do. Or as many Golfers know all too well from experience - it's just too easy to slip back into bad habits (especially a few days after a 30 minute lesson). The Instructor isn't there to tell you if you're doing it correctly or not.

Why GMS?

With GMS - you'll be spending 8 hours each day with your Instructor. Now please don't think it's 8 hours of ball bashing - it's not. Annika couldn't hit golf balls for 8 hours. The GMS Program is a process where you learn about your golf swing and how to improve the way you hit the golf ball. This is done by learning the strengths and weaknesses of your swing - meaning: what you do well in your swing, as well as what you don't do well in your swing.

This process includes many important items such as where you should make contact with the golf ball and then how to do it consistently. Which is pretty important since most Golfers repeatedly fail in their attempts to get underneath the golf ball in order to get it up in the air with distance and accuracy.

As you go through the GMS process - you'll see and feel a much better golf swing. And to make sure that you can take that golf swing to the golf course - each afternoon you'll go out on the golf course for 9 holes of On-course Instruction with your Instructor. The value of those 9 holes is priceless - because how many Golfers do you know that are able hit the ball so much better on the range versus the golf course. GMS will train you to take your improved golf swing from the practice range to the first tee.

Then ... After 3 Days With GMS?

After 3 days you'll see improvement in every part of your golf game - from your golf swing (Driver, irons, hybrids, fairway woods), to your putting stroke, to your chipping and wedges, to the sand bunker, to your green reading, to your mental game, how to practice more effectively, along with developing a better On-course Strategy.
